It seems that NEC is trying to enter the netbook market with the release of the new LaVie Light. The netbook comes jam packed with an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 8.9 inch LCD display, 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, Wi-Fi connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, SD memory card slot, and a 1.3MP camera. It is better than Asus Eee PC. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing at this time. [Akihabara via Laptop Notebook News]
