Toshiba Japan has decided to release their first netbook for the Japanese market. The NB100 feature an 8.9-inch LCD screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, WiFi, and will be available in either Ubuntu or Windows XP OS. Available in Cosmic Black, Champagne Gold, and Bright Silver, the price starts at $757, which is more expensive than the price in Europe for approx. €472. [Akihabara via Laptop Notebook News]
