This concept wrist, watch quite literally puts the time on your wrist.

Designed by Andy Kurovets, this concept uses a laser mounted inside the wrist band and angled over the flat part of the wrist to reveal digital time.[Yanko Design]

It is unfortunate that the googly eyes clock is only a concept because I believe this would sell like hotcakes. The left eyeball displays the hour while the right displays the minutes.

Hate your alarm? Love the snooze button? Combine both into an undoubtedly pleasurable experience with Smash, which lets you crush your alarm into submission every morning.

This will lead to bad habits and missed days of work, sure, and not to mention additional anger issues on top of what you’re already suffering from, but it feels good. And that’s all that matters. [Matthias Lange via OhGizmo]

The Ziplamp: Unzip for some lightThe Ziplamp by Merry Design Studio is an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styren) light stick hiding inside in a neoprene cover. To turn on the Ziplamp, just… Well, unzip the cover until you have the desired amount of light. It’s a pretty nifty, almost organic looking looking way of using lighting. I don’t see why it couldn’t be incorporated directly into the wall, or the roof of a car for that matter.

The Ziplamp almost seems a bit sexual given it’s unzipping nature. They should probably have a miniature version you can put under your clothes. That way you can wow the ladies and they’ll tell all their girlfriends that you were so amazing you exuded light from your privates. That’s a ringing endorsement.

Sadly it’s but a concept. One I hope makes it into mass production.
